Director Anthony Mandler Talks About Usher's OMG With Rap-Up:Is Mr Entertainment Back?

Et même si le concept du clip doit rester secret, Mandler a tout de même donné quelques infos sur le clip de OMG à Rap-Up:UsherRaymondBlog

"Disons juste que le clip sera comme un spectacle. L'accent sera mis sur ce que l'on aime chez Usher,le personnage, l'icône qu'il est, et plus important, c'est une vidéo qui met  en avant sa célébrité."

Usher went in front of the lens earlier this month to shoot a video for “OMG,” the first international single from his sixth studio album Raymond v. Raymond. Rap-Up.com spoke with the clip’s director, Anthony Mandler, who says Ursh’s new video will have you saying, well, “Oh my gosh!”

“I am right in the middle of finishing Usher,” shares Mandler, who’s directed videos for Rihanna (“Russian Roulette”), Jay-Z (“Run This Town”), and Eminem (“Beautiful”). The “OMG” clip, which was shot in Los Angeles, features will.i.am, who also produced the track.

While he wanted to keep the concept a surprise, Mandler did say this:

: “Let’s just say that the video is a spectacle. It really emphasizes what we love about Usher and the character and the icon that he is, and most importantly, it’s really a video that showcases his superstardom.”

The R&B heartthrob also filmed a video for “Lil Freak” featuring Nicki Minaj with director TAJ. His album Raymond v. Raymond drops March 30.
